S.B. Foot Briar Oil Slick
After the Belizean jungle and the Caribbean coast, these Blacksmith carried me to the Guatemalan mountains where I got to visit one of the coffee farmers I buy from for my little roastery. Very very special moment to meet the person behind the product, to walk his land, talk about our common passion over beers and barbecue. Thousands of miles away from home. In them same boots still. Depicted here is one of the seedlings on his farm.

Why I own this
For my first Thunderdome I wanted to go with the classics, and one that I could buy in store in France to avoid any missizing. Red Wing meets both criterias. The choice of the Blacksmith was that of the Briar Oil Slick leather and its reddish undertones that had me captivated.
