Last farmer's market of the Thunderdome. Crazy to think 6 months ago these boots were unworn, and the roastery didn't exist yet. Now I have regulars, know their names, have built relationships and memories. Simultaneously the boots have creased and changed and morphed, and wearing them feels like going back to an old friend.

For my first Thunderdome I wanted to go with the classics, and one that I could buy in store in France to avoid any missizing. Red Wing meets both criterias. The choice of the Blacksmith was that of the Briar Oil Slick leather and its reddish undertones that had me captivated.
