Red Wing Iron Ranger

Went to sierra looking for fancy instant coffee for camping, walked out with these clearance-marked factory seconds. Ive always romanticized owning a pair of IRs. Kind of a double whammy, it seems like these were maybe bought as factory seconds and then returned, but judging by the darker backstay on the right boot, not before they were partially slathered with mink oil or something. Wore these all day, and dang people really aren’t kidding with the break in stories with this shoe. Then again the leather thickness is just really quality. I took pictures of some various areas that display why these might be seconds. Might put these in the closet and bring them back out in the fall.
