These aren’t anything to write home about. They’re just short 6” shaft side zip boots but boy are they comfy with the texton foam & leather insole they use. It’s practically walking around in sneakers. I got these in a 9G UK sizing and they fit perfectly. I haven’t tried leathers like this RM Williams side zip boot but they sure look nice in a pair of slim straight selvedge denim jeans AND some dress slacks. I love the chisel toe and although not really worth retail but if they offer a discount go for it. It’s a worthy boot in anyone’s rotation because they are sneaker like. No joke. These still fall short of Grant Stone leather quality for the uppers and the fiberboard heel stack. I understand fiberboard is not a durable option but I understand why they used it. To keep it lightweight. I see no problems walking all day in these. The fit is perfect and the insole is nice and cushiony. If that bothers you then don’t try these. I also found out post purchase that they have no midsole like the Iron Rangers and when I resole these I will get them with leather heelstack and midsole. I’m sure it’ll change the look but I’m ok with that. I want quality material in all my footwear.

First pair of boots on UK sizing. Very comfy but I am not certain I like the fact that they have a huge foam heel pad.
