Truthfully, the fit was not working out for me at the start. However, Brian's ability to make adjustments without compromising the finish has completely turned this pair around. Since I got them back and started breaking them in, these are quickly becoming the best fitting boots I have. 👌

Why I own this
Brian himself described the Townsman as a hybrid between the White’s Semi-Dress and the Alden Indy Boot. These are my two favorite iconic models, and I was itching for a moc toe boot. It was a no-brainer for me.
How I sized
Brian measured my foot in person at his workshop in LA.
Ordering process
It was quite straightforward. I discussed I was looking for a shell cordovan boot in the aforementioned style. He produced a wonderful Horween Color 8 shell, informed me about the moc toe option, and we shook on it!
