Unexpectedly ending back in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Middle of the empty street outside my grandparent's place on Tombstone-Cleaning Holiday. Much more quiet than the same street in my rosy childhood memories. It's been a tough month of mostly family affairs and health but next week I'll be back in the states. I'm glad I picked zip boots that hold up so well to constant running around in and out of the house.
