Compared to last year’s 2030 Guidi calf pair, this Dublin leather was tougher. There were no bumps or scrapes that left a heel looking like a scab had been ripped off. “Tougher” also meant stiffer. These boots held their shape for the entire Dome, with a more roll-like vamp look than the creasing on last year’s entry. Like last year, the boots settled in and adapted to my feet; one of the most satisfying results of near daily wear.
