Maryam Fango Vitello CalfWhat a ridiculously amazing boot this is. Super comfy, still elegant and built like a tank. Showed them to Brett in person last month and even he complimented them. If you notice, the top of the shaft is starting to discolor as the leather wears. It's becoming lighter at the top - I brushed them a lot but it seems that it's teacoring to the underlying natural color. What an adventure!

Why did you choose this item?
I really loves the nubuck nature/texture of the Port Vitello series from Maryam. I've owned a lot of Horsebutt from them but never a calf, and these looked perfect for long term patina. The BCT made them perfect for work too, so they were an easy choice.
How did you determine your size?
I measured my brannock, which is 9.5C HTT/9HTB and consulted some friends. I tried both size 9E and 8.5E on the 2030 last and 8.5 is way better for my foot since it's low volume. Most importantly, the ball lines up at the widest part of the shoe so it also creases evenly.
