Walking my dog this girl came up to me with her dog and then said “I can’t tell if you’re wearing ‘timbs’ or dress shoes” … I didn’t have the heart to tell her “well they’re actually a Canadian Military Officers Parade Boot made by a logging company with absurdly artisan Japanese horsehide and styled with traditionally-workwear rawhide laces so I see why you might say that” and so I just said “they’re from Canada!” and kept moving. Whatever.
