More about this item

I was really curious about the C-461 sprung toe last when I ordered November 2023 and it doesn't disappoint. The boots feel great and I don't see any fit issues arising during break in. 8" Soft toe Single midsole Standard heel height Antique brass eyelets/hooks Brown edge dressing Pull loop

These are a Whites 8" LTT boot built on the C461 sprung toe last. I really liked my LTT dome boots, but I wanted a sprung toe simply because I think it looks really cool. I was inspired to go for the olive waxed flesh by Dales Leather works olive waxed Whites and I've got another pair of boots in distress smooth that I love the feel of. Almost all my boots are black or brown and I wanted something different.

How I sized

Compared to Other Lasts

Bakers helped me out. They informed me that the C461 is sized the same as the 55...so I ordered my 55 size of 10D. I think after they are fully broke in...these will be my most comfortable pair. The last fits my foot SO well.

Ordering online through Bakers was easy. I chose my specs and hit the button. I ordered these during the Black Friday sale in 2023 and received them towards the end of July. Almost an 8 month lead time. When I ordered I thought Whites lead time was 4-5 months, so towards the end there I was getting a little antsi. I emailed Bakers a couple times asking if Black Friday boots had started to arrive and they responded each time promptly. A few weeks after the last email...I got notified they were at the store for pickup. Upon pickup, they brought my boots out and laced them up for me to try on in the store. I was so stoked to be receiving my first pair of custom boots and when they cracked the box open...unwrapped the paper I was more than pleased with how they turned out. Well worth the wait. After confirming they fit well, they thanked me for the business and I was out the door headed home.
