Obviously these boots are new and today was my first day wearing them. Because they are new the sole is very stiff. So other than a funny gait I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort during or after a four mile hike. These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I’ve never had a shoe as comfortable as these.
