Leather is coming along nicely. Some leathers, like bison or kudu or roughout, look amazing right off the bat. Others, like a double stuff or even chromexcel, take time to develop character and start to look "good" (in my ever so humble opinion). These are starting to show signs they'll look great down the road.

I have a "high-volume" foot - so, wide forefoot and high instep - but also a fairly narrow heel. And my second toe is longer than my big toe. Other than my Drew's Loggers (whose forefoot is as big as the Grand Canyon) these are the best outta-the-box fitting boots I own so far. Once the arch settles I may not be able to tell I even have them on.
