Don't have any new pictures of these, but figured I should add this pair to the app. For those looking to see how the Distress Smooth can age. I really like this leather!

I was able to try these in the store. The boots have a very small amount of arch support compared to the 55, but still supportive. I guess you could say it's anatomical in its toe shape. It's a comfortable last, can wear it all day with no issues.

More about this item

Got this pair deeply discounted at the Danner Factory store. There were a couple clinch nails poking up out of the insole, I think that's why they were discounted. They could have been seconds as well, the sales lady had no idea. The boots come with an ortholite foam insert, but I've replaced them with a homemade pair of leather/cork inserts. Finishing was ok, not perfect and I think the outsole sanding around the toes is a little too close. They didn't leave much room to sand after a resole. Construction is 270 stitchdown with a leather lineman shank from the heel to the ball, then a full length thin rubber midsole, followed by the wedge sole. I only wear these boots casually. They haven't seen any days at work, just cruising around.
