Rag & Bone is a fashion brand based in New York City. The company was established in 2002.

History

Rag & Bone was founded in 2002 by Nathan Bogle and Marcus Wainwright. The brand introduced its men's line in 2004 and its women's line in 2005.

In 2006, Nathan Bogle left the company. David Neville, who had joined Rag & Bone in 2005, became a partner with Marcus Wainwright.

The company began producing footwear in 2008, with design input from Tull Price. Price is a former owner of Royal Elastics and a co-owner of FEIT.

In 2016, Rag & Bone launched eight unisex Eau de Parfums. The same year, Rag & Bone entered a licensing agreement for eyewear with Italian company Safilo Group, set to begin in January 2018.

In April 2024, Guess?, Inc. and WHP Global acquired Rag & Bone.

Manufacturing

Rag & Bone works with local manufacturers in the United States.

Construction and materials

Rag & Bone uses traditional tailoring techniques. The brand incorporates design elements linked to British tailoring.

Products

Rag & Bone produces men's and women's ready-to-wear clothing, footwear, accessories, and fragrances.

The company introduced the "Newbury" boot in 2011. The Newbury boot remains part of the Rag & Bone footwear line.
