Why did you choose this item?
The Indy’s are classic. I always wanted a pair. I found a picture of a shell version online that was well worn and beautiful. The complexity of the aged color 8 spoke to me, so I decided I would get a pair for my Dome entry this year.
How did you determine your size?
In Alden, I wear the same size as Viberg. Full size smaller than brannock.

Every day mostly office wear

Gorgeous depth of color. Some variation from boot to boot, which I don't mind. I just brush them and wax them occasionally. They can get warm, as with most shell boots, they don't really breathe.
Fit
Very comfortable, roomy toe box. Better in cooler weather I'd say, owing to the shell's warmer qualities.
Craftsmanship
Beautiful design. It looks beautiful and classic, becoming even more beautiful with wear.
Sole & heel
Just enough traction with the commando sole, while maintaining the comfort of a leather sole.
Some of my most comfortable boots, and they fit in an office or an outdoor setting. Very versatile.
Final thoughts
I wanted to try out a classic. They did not disappoint. I enjoy wearing them with jeans. The colors complement each other.
