Amazing boots from an amazing Indian shoemaker

I wore my boots out on adventures with my wife and dog hiking. I also wore them into the office and any time there wasn’t snow or ice. Unfortunately we had a bad winter in Colorado so I wasn’t able to wear them more.

The leather is now soft and supple and has lost the plastic look from day 0. The leather is darker brown in spots while retaining a bit of Carmel coloring which I love. There was little to no break in. These boots were truly comfortable from day 1 unlike my experience with red wing and Truman. I would brush the boots after every wear and put in shoe trees at night. I washed witj a cloth and water twice to get off excess dirt and conditioned at the end of the thunderdome

The sizing was a bit large so a put in a Spence insert. The fir after the insert was perfect. I was able to walk and stand all day comfortable with no blisters or pain. These are some of the most comfortable boots I own with ample room in the toe box.

The design is great for a service boot that can be multifunctional. The finishing was ok with some lose thread and low stitch density which is expect with hand lasted and welted. I feel like I won the Chromexel lottery and am very happy with the boot. The construction is great. Very sturdy secure boots that are day 1 comfortable that will last a lifetime

These sole are quite durable and more comfortable than danite. The traction is fine outside of snow and ice
