Extremely Comfortable Bordon Tukano v2

I wore my Bordons most days to my job a mixture of office work and walking around a warehouse area. I also used them for everyday activities in different weathers. In the rain and light puddles my feet stayed dry. The vibram christy sole is super comfortable when walking on concrete or hard surfaces. In cold conditions the sole can be a bit slippy.

The wickett & craig double stuffed olive leather was hard to break in for a couple of days but after that it became supple and moulded to my feet, this is the first pair of boots I havnt had to wear my orthotics with. The arch seems to have moulded to support my foot. I havnt used any products on the boots since the start of the contest. I have brushed them most days with a horse hair brush and wiped down with a damp cloth if needed. The colour has changed from an almost black dark olive to lighter olive green with tones of brown showing through.

The fit is excellent and is very comfortable. Sizing was easy enough.I spoke with Andres at Bordon, traced and measured my foot and they advised me on sizing. Support from Bordon was great but length of time to receive the boots was very long. It was worth the wait.

I love the overall look and design of the boots. I like the lining in the toe area and tough brass hardware. The stitching is nice and fairly even. The sole has come slightly away from the arch area on one boot but only a very small area. Glue will sort that out. I think the Bordon boots are well made.

The vibram christy sole is very comfortable walking on concrete or hard sufaces. The traction is good apart from on icey or mucky surfaces. The sole is wearing faster than a lug sole but thats to be expected. I love the black sole as you dont notice all the staining like on white christy soles.

Overall I would recommend Bordons they are very well made and the price is very affordable. I just wish the wait time was shorter. I believe they have started to address this to try speed things up.
