I chose this pair because of its unique balance between ruggedness and refinement. The silhouette is sleek, understated, but still carries a strong presence. It’s not loud, but it definitely makes a statement if you pay attention.
How did you determine your size?
My sizing was determined directly by Briselblack through an in-person measurement. They measured my feet and recommended the appropriate size based on the Kapak V2 last. This gave me confidence in the fit from the start, and after the break-in period, it proved to be very accurate and comfortable.
What was the ordering process?
The ordering process was smooth overall. Communication was clear, and everything felt well-handled from start to finish. No major issues, and the experience matched the premium feel of the product itself.
Use & wear
I’ve been wearing these almost daily, around 6 days a week. Mostly used in the studio and for walking around the city. They’ve seen consistent, real use rather than occasional wear.
Leather
The first 7 days felt quite stiff, but it started to soften noticeably in the second week. By the third week, the leather began to roll nicely, and around the second month, the brown undertone started to show through beautifully. Surprisingly, creasing is still very minimal up to now.
Fit
Initially felt stiff, but after breaking in, these have become the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn.
Craftsmanship
The stitching is very clean, and the overall finishing is excellent. The boots feel truly premium, both in hand and on foot.
Sole & heel
The sole has solid grip for urban use, even on relatively slippery surfaces. As for the heel, I didn’t expect it to be this comfortable
The higher heel actually helps reduce calf fatigue by shifting the weight slightly forward.
Final thoughts
Definitely worth it. These boots are perfect for anyone who wants a rugged look while still keeping things refined and sleek. They’re quite versatile style-wise, as long as your pants have at least a 20 cm leg opening.
