The wait time was around 6 months. The leather, last, soles, and heel was chosen to my specifications.
Use & wear
I use this shoe as daily office shoe. I wear this 3-4 days a week, and get aroung 8,000 steps on weekdays. I customized this shoe to have soft-structured toe box and slim outsole, so i can dress it up or dress it down
Leather
I had 0 pain breaking this boots. My feet had no blister whatsoever. The leather is incredible, thick yet very flexible
Fit
The intial fit of size eu 42 was slightly loose. It's a common thing since this is a laces boots without any adjustments feature. I added a medium-thickness insole, and now it fits perfectly like socks
Craftsmanship
The craftsmanship is incredible. The most important thing of this shoe is the fit i get which comes from the last and the wholecut upper. Also they installed double elastic for longer wear time and better fit on ankles. However I have to point out that the welt on this shoes could've made slightly more slimmer
Sole & heel
Superb traction. Not as durable as other thicker vibram soles, but it gets the job done excellently for dressier shoes, and it is easy to repair
Unlike the half sole counterpart. The Vibram Explosion heels are very durable
Final thoughts
Yes this chelsea boots is expensive and not everyone has access to. But, if you're looking for a pair of chelsea boots that would compliment your style (both dressy and casual), great fit, and craftsmanship. This is the one i would suggest
