The Seventh Chelsea Boot features a wholecut construction, meaning each boot is crafted from a single piece of leather without seams along the upper. This construction method requires carefully selected, unblemished leather pieces and demonstrates advanced shoemaking skill. The boot uses Briselblack's Flatwelt 270° construction method, where the welt extends 270 degrees around the boot's perimeter.

The boot is built on the Kujang last, which provides the boot's shape and fit characteristics. The toebox features an unstructured design, allowing the leather to conform naturally to the wearer's foot without internal reinforcement. Briselblack's seven-person workshop in Bandung employs hand-lasting and hand-welting techniques, with each boot requiring significant time investment due to the traditional construction methods.

The Seventh Chelsea Boot is available in multiple leather options, with Maryam horsebutt being a popular choice. Maryam tannery, located in Italy, produces vegetable-tanned horsebutt leather known for developing distinctive patina over time. Available colorways include Brown Horsebutt, Natural Reverse Horsebutt, and Toscanello Horsebutt, each offering different aging characteristics and appearance.

The boot features a single midsole construction and utilizes Dr. Sole #1140 Supergrip II Half Sole in black for the outsole. This sole provides flexibility, durability, and traction suitable for various weather conditions. Lining options include Tan Calf Skin or Red Full Lined, depending on customer preference and selected configuration.
