From sand dunes to snow to soggy terrain to hiking trails to crossing streams, these boots have been reliable. I've worn them anywhere from a couple times a week to everyday, for an hour or two to 12 hr days. I wore them while traveling for 28 hr stretches twice. They were comfortable and supportive, and not restrictive while traveling. I'm not one to take my shoes off on the road or in the air.
