A comfortable, somewhat stiff casual boot with a unique sole.

I’ve worked these at least a couple times a week over the past six months. I have not work them primarily for casual everyday activities, not extensive physical labor.

The waxed flesh has started to wear in certain spots on the toe and heel, but it has retained its original waxed look over the majority of the boot. The leather remains stiff, but it has molded to my foot, so it is quite comfortable. Aside from occasional brushing and wiping with a damp cloth, I have not needed to do any other maintenance, as you would expect from the hearty waxed flesh leather.

I’m a 10 brannock between D and E width and these boots in 9.5D feel just about perfect fit-wise. Though they are D width, the morris last provides enough room for my toes without them feeling cramped at all. The last has relatively low arch support compared to something like a 55 last, but my feet still feel supported and comfortable.

These feel very well put together with good fit and finish.

The sole combines the comfort of foam with the durability of a rubber outsole with a unique sawtooth tread pattern that provides great traction and adds an interesting design element. The white sole contrasts well with the brown waxed flesh upper.
