Cordobes Handcrafted Boots
I wore these almost everyday, except the month of November, because I had to send them back to have the soles re-glued. I work at a desk, but I'm busy at home in my workshop and on my property. Lots of rain, not much sun in the SW Washington valley.
The leather took a serious beating, it shows signs of wear, scrapes and stains, it darkened quite a bit, even without much sun in the PNW this winter. The leather is still tough, but more mailable and flexible after so much wear. I washed and oiled (Neetsfoot) these each month before pictures.
I really like this last, very roomy toe box, maybe too roomy. The last is more round than a typical Jodhpur, so it gives these boots a more engineer style look under jeans, especially with the more aggressive V100 lug.
The design is good, the Mexico leather is great, the soles came unglued after one month of wear. I sent them back to be repaired and they held up well afterward. I wish the straps were 2"-3" shorter.
