I ordered these custom confirmation monkey boots from Franks because I wanted a great everyday boot that i could wear all day throughout my everyday life. I can wear them for work, at the gym, throwing disc golf, or just going out for a typical walk for miles.
I sent in a fresh fit sheet to franks and worked with Michelle directly on this build from fit to form.
It was great. I made the order by phone. I mailed in my fresh fit sheet. Worked out all the specific details with Michelle to come up with the perfect end product.
They have miles of walking. Hours of work in both offices and throwing freight in a grocery warehouse. They have been on discgolf courses, and in the gym while I'm doing my strength training. Literally everyday life in all aspects.
So far the patina is great. They're getting some character, and the darkening is right where I figure it should be. The break it wasn't terrible. Took a week or 2, but they're continuing to get better everyday day. I'm brushing them off as needed. Once a month I wipe them down with baby wipes before taking the new months photos.
They fit great. Frank's knocked it out of the park.
Best design concept so far! Franks did fantastic on the build. Everything is right with these.
I'm really enjoying this sole. It's delightful under foot.
I wouldn't change a thing. Looking forward to the rest of the progression through the thunderdome!
