Everyday wear. This boot was very versatile. I could dress up for work (business casual), travel, take hikes in the woods. Held up well in rain, snow too. Note that it is a thin leather so did not provide a lot of warmth on colder days (thick socks required). Wore literally every day.
This is a unique leather. This is a very soft, strong leather. Three was almost no break in time. It also aged very well. I liked the similar properties to shell. It develops some unique rolls and coloration. It also required minimal care. I did use some conditioner, especially with toe scuffs. Was very pleased with this leather durability.
The fit was very good. I like the Leo last.
Liked the overall design of plain toe Edward boot. Leather was good quality.
Overall this is a good comfortable sole, but perhaps least favorite part of this make-up. I found that the soft rubber on the tips broke off (perhaps a bit too soon) and not as durable as they could be. Also the heel plate is starting to detach. Obviously can be corrected with resole, but seems too soon.
Overall the grant stone Edward boot in rust kangaroo is a great value for such a unique boot and leather. Would highly recommend especially for anyone worried about difficult break in time as the soft strong leather fits great fit right out of the box.
