Wish GS would make a very simple Brown Cxl configuration with rubber outsoles and darker eyelets. Top notch finishing, design on the dressier side, but boots will easily handle any moderate abuse during a city commute of even some light walk outdoors, although I would use other footwear for that purpose...."Read the full review

I typically prefer the micro stud sole for looks, but for this dome time period I need the utility of lug. I do find the grant stone lug to be less industrial looking with that said, and it kind of disappears a when worn. Construction of the boots is fantastic, no stitching issues, lining is spot on and the leather clicking appears to be really good on this pair with initial creasing at the toe being less drastic than other pairs I have...."Read the full review

By Btins • April 5, 2024"It is excellent. I have quite a few pairs of boots and these are beautiful, well made and well finished boots. I was admiring the welt stitching as I conditioned them. I would recommend Grant Stone to any friend or Stranger. In fact I have done both during the course of the patina thunderdome contest. For enemies, I have a different recommendation that I won’t share. The only problem I encountered was one of the speed hooks was sharp on the inside and was digging into the tongue. The only minor complaint is the narrowness of the tongue means I have to take more care to keep it centered while lacing up as it wants to migrate to the side.
