After about 3 weeks I had decided I should have joined the work dome and not the open. I wore these boots everyday in the shop and in cemeteries working with granite. Then I would give them a good brushing to wear them to town and conferences. I love how I was able to dress them up and down.
These boots broke in fairly quickly (2 weeks). I brushed my boots every day. Because of the dusty environment I work in every 2-3 days I wiped down with a damp cloth. Throughout the competition these were conditioned 2 times with VSC.
These boots are very supportive and comfortable. I was able to wear these all day while on my feet at work, then turn around and wear them out to dinner with no pinching or discomfort. The only time my feet were uncomfortable was durning an 8 mile ruck march :/
The construction and design for this boot is wonderful. And they are a very durable boots, they held up to 6 months of manual labor amazingly.
The Micro Stud Sole is comfortable, but personal it is not my favorite. I feel as they are not as durable nor have the traction I like for a boot.
I am very happy with how the Nora boot preformed as a work boot these past 6 months. If they can stand up to this type of work, they would be a great boot for a more casual everyday wear. I will most definitely look at getting more Grant Stones in the future.
