Why did you choose this item?
I initially wanted a pair of Galloway style boots for the patina thunderdome, but lee's work is too good to pass up. We discussed leather options at length, I told him I'd be wearing these hard and we settled on bison leather
What was the ordering process?
This was my second pair ordering from Lee. I ordered this pair directly from him with much discussion
Use & wear
Uhh mountain climbing, office work, hiking, deep snow. These saw everything in the first few months.
Leather
The leather itself held up and evolved well. It's extremely hearty and developed a great patina.
Craftsmanship
Amazing. Lee's finishing is amazing. However, I didn't treat these boots as dress boots. I beat them up and the welt came loose. Lee fixed it and they look as good as new.
Sole & heel
The topy branded topy is bad. It tore within a month.
Final thoughts
Very glad to have them back. Will likely make another purchase from Lee again.
