Jim Green is the best

Online pals and I wanted a pair of Jim Greens that honored the RSA heritage of the brand. So we settled on this unique makeup where we are getting hair on hide from a cow native to RSA, sourced from a local (to JG) farmer.

I own a pair in the JG last which I would say is probably a 1/4 size too small. It's a little short, but too wide in some areas (in a US 11.5). In discussions with others, I was told to go a half size up on the STC last vs the JG last. These are probably 1/4 size too big.

We all discussed the pair with Gareth and he sourced the leather for us. And gave us a great deal. We had initially settled for natural veg tan RO, but he was unsatisfied with the leather he had been given by the tannery multiple times, so we switched it to khaki RO.
