I saw the new Fritz pattern Nathan has just started offering and decided I wanted that. My collection has a lack of reddish tones other than some shell, so I saw this leather was available and here we are.
I worked with Nathan and sent measurements. He ultimately went down half from where he initially sized me, which I'm not sure was quite the right choice. I use a touch more toe room, but it works well enough with thinner socks
It was great! Nathan is really friendly and easy to work with. He was really excited about my choices and made it a breeze
Mostly just my day to day. I'm in the office a couple days a week so they spent a lot of time there, but also went to bars, concerts, and so on. They're great for pedaling an e-bike!
Break-in was minimal. The leather is very soft and flexible. It's a veg tan so it got conditioner a couple times over the course of this (most recently a month ago), but beyond that, just frequent brushing. It darkened some, but mostly just held up nicely.
Looks the same basically. It's just the tongue
It's good, I could probably take a half size larger, though with my low foot volume, it might not be so good. A touch more toe room would go a long way since the arch seems pretty good and the heel is really comfy.
