Green Monster

Wore to work 5 days a week since the contest started, mainly to the office. Occasionally wore to the construction site, outdoor vacations with a lot if walking.

The break in period was next to nothing, on first wear was not stiff. Added leather in soles for the heel slip. No added wax or oil. Brushed with horse hair every 2-3 weeks to remove any dirt. The first 3-4 months, the natural wax held up great, no patina was showing, the last dew months, the wax started to come off and starts showing the nap.

Heel felt a bit high, some heel slippage but leather insoles and thick wool socks help. Purchased 8 E, should have order 7.5 EE.

Design is really great, Nicks did an exceptional job in construction of the boots.

It was good, some slippery monuments with wet floor but overall good grip. There is no sign of wear

Nick makes a great pair of boots, the prices has gone up but still a good value for the durability.
