Quality boots I’ve come to expect from Nicks and great leather from Horween

I work in an office and have worn my dome boots every day since Oct 5th. I live in Florida and it was hot and humid all of October. I’ve done some chores in my dome boots but nothing too extreme. The only time they have gotten wet (so far) is washing dishes.

The Cypress leather is thick, stiff, and tough. It hasn’t really softened during my break in but has molded to my foot and ankle. I am picking up some scrapes and scratches but they buff out with a brush. I brush every other day, that is all the care I’ve been giving them (as of 10/31). They had some nice variation out of the box and it’s unknown how much they are going to patina over the thunderdome.

The 55 last in a 10.5D is perfect for my foot. The boot was stiff for the first couple of days but it fits like a glove now. I wear these boots all day with no issues.
