The first day of wear included their first of several multi-hour hour airplane rides - they even made it unscathed on foot through the precheck security screening. I wore them to business casual meetings. I walked about 4 city miles every day and they loved pavement pounding. I pulled my kiddo through many museums in them. They were great in the rain and decent in the snow - though different soles would be better on ice. They were perfect hiking in the woods. They scrambled well on rocks. They were surprisingly good boots for snowshoeing. I had better than expected ball control kicking around a soccer ball in them. There were very few occasions where I did not want to wear them.
