I work on my feet moving around in a fast paced environment. I do a lot of bending, shuffling, etc. They’ve been outside and experienced a lot of Minnesota snow and salt. I wore them for my wedding on Oct 5th when they were brand new and I wore them on my honeymoon in Finland, Denmark, and Estonia.
I just put them on and wore them. They broke in easily. I used a light soap to clean the salt off them as well as Venetian leather balm to keep them from drying out. I probably could have just brushed the salt and dirt off and not worried about the balm though. They had a bit of a natural matte texture when I started that took scuffs really nicely. Ended up developing a nice shine.
Great support. Most comfortable boots I’ve worn. We’re comfortable from the get-go but became more so as I wore them.
I feel like it is great craftsmanship for the price. There were a couple loose stitches that needed to be snipped and burned but they held up very well. Very sturdy boots with many more years of daily wear left in them.
