Boots Built for the Long Haul

A majority of my day is spent on my feet as a high school agriculture instructor. My work environment consists of a barn, gardens, and welding shop. Most days start before 5:00 am and I usually am home between 7:00 and 8:00 pm. I also travel extensively with students throughout the state to livestock shows and judging contests.

The break in was easy. I was able to wear them for a full day right out of the box. They have lightened up as the have aged and the ember waxed flesh took a long time to start showing any signs of wear. I did find that they did not breath as well as my other work boots and needed a day to dry out between wears if it was hot. Overall EWF has held up to the wear and tear that I subject it to without any problems.

I love the Thurman last w/delta arch. All of my boots from here on out will be Thurman’s if available. The built in Delta Arch is convenient but I kind like the delta insoles better. They feel a little more supportive. I am a weird anomaly because I wear PNW boots with adequate arch support for work but wear barefoot shoes for leisure.

I love the HD pattern. The relief cuts helps with break in and allows for a little more flexibility. The Moc Toe on my boots was straight and even which I was worried about. Overall the construction is what I expect from Nick’s. My only issue is the right boot developed a squeak that I have been able to reduce using boot oil on the insole.

The only wedge sole I will ever use on a boot that requires a wedge sole. I comfort and look compared to the Christy.

Best add on to the 2021. Increase the traction abc durability of the 2021. I also love the Elvis because it doesn’t pick up manure when I work in the school barn.

Great boot for the price. The HD pattern on the Thurman last awesome for those that like a little more toe box room. I would recommend this or similar configuration to anyone that is on the feet all day.
