Nicks Handmade Boots
MTO
US Men's Brannock: 10.5D
HNW Last: 10C
Perfectly firm handshake fit without any negative pressure points. The leather feels substantial but supple. The heel gently hugs my heel without any undesired heel slip. The length is perfect with a full thumb width at the tip of my toes.

I saw this come across on a limited edition release in spring of 2025 and thought it was a great natural tone. In seeing how other Predator leather releases had developed patina over a short amount of time I thought this would make a killer boot. …and it hasn’t disappointed.
I measured my foot multiple times using tracings, circumferential tape, and on a brannock. Additionally, I had previously purchased a 10D HNW Nicks traveler and found it to be a smidge wide which led me to the 10C decision on this pair.
Order was easy to place on Nicks website. Then, just had to sit back and wait.
Everything from hiking, exploring, to daily activities and date nights.
Horween Predator Natural is amazingly robust. Scratches easily burnish/brush out. Excellent water resistance in light rain. Easy to clean up.
Overall on this 10C HNW it fits well. I’ve never had one blister from these boots. The breakin was easy. Only negative is that they are on the border of too short. If they were a few millimeters shorter I would have had to return and exchange them. This is odd because I have a 10D HNW that has at least an inch of room at the toe despite the manufacturer claims that there is no difference in length between widths at the same size.
One of the most robust and well made boot I’ve ever purchased. Stitching is satisfactory.
Surprisingly good durability. A little firm on hard surfaces although that’s an acceptable tradeoff for a more durable outsole. I’ve never slipped walking in these.
Excellent. Slight wear due to gait as expected.
I’m extremely happy with this pair of boots. I look forward to wearing them for many years to come.
