I’m an hvac tech so I’ve worn them in attics and crawl spaces and greatly appreciate the flexibility of the leather soles, I also love to go hiking and they have done quite well tromping through the woods
The waxed flesh is very tough and surprisingly soft, they broke in very quickly. They show every little scratch which I love.
They have great arch support and plenty of room in the toe box which is nice because I have wide feet. There is a tiny bit of heel slip but not enough to be an issue. I added Nick’s Delta insoles and the further increased the comfort for me.
Near flawless stitching and beautiful construction. My only complaint is the heels have almost no angle to them despite ordering the “dogger” style heel. They definitely resemble a block heel more.
The leather sole is incredibly comfortable and flexible. I feel like I have a better connection to the ground and it wicks away moisture from my feet perfectly. They are wearing rather quickly compared to rubber soles but that was to be expected.
The height of the moderate heel is very comfortable I just wish the angle was more pronounced.
Overall these are amazing boots, gorgeous craftsmanship and solid construction. I know these boots will serve me for years to come.
