I wore these packers almost everyday. I am a full time automotive student so they saw there fair share of shop use. I also used them to go hiking a few days a week during the entire dome they they held up and felt amazing after the break in.

Break-In

HORWEEN waxed flesh is by far my favourite leather it develops so beautifully and isn’t to hard of a break in. My boots started as jet black and the brown tones of them now makes them so much more eye catching. I love how this leather develops uniquely to each wearer and how they wear them.

Satisfied with the Fit

I love the 5812 last I am someone who wears a ton of cowboy boots and that’s what I spend most of my time in so the feeling of the 5812 last was no stranger to me. Even with the narrow toe and high arch they were extremely comfortable and never felt like my toes where being squeezed or like the arch was too extreme. I ordered these in my usual PNW boot size and they fit extremely well and are probably one of my best fitting pairs of nicks.

Construction

The Packer is an amazing boot it looked amazing through every stage of the dome and got tons of compliments when I wore them out. The construction is top notch I put these boots through the wringer wearing them in water snow and working on cars and they have held up to everything I’ve thrown at them.

Sole & heel

Traction
Comfort

I love the mini lug sole I used them for hiking a ton and never felt that I lacked any sort of traction while still keeping a slim silhouette of a flat sole. The tall heel of the Packer was surprisingly comfortable and I hardly noticed it after breaking in.

Good Value

The Nicks Packer is probably one of my favourite boots Ive ever worn, they are extremely comfortable and look amazing but it is a huge monetary commitment to wear these boots but it is definitely worth it there is nothing I’ve worn that rivals these.
