I love Zero Drop wide toe box shoes AND Nicks. The zero drop is better for my knees. I can work in them longer with less fatigue. When I saw these it was a no brainer. Plus I’ve always wanted grey boots. :)
I have 2 other pairs of Nicks…I whittled down to the right size and fit.
This particular pair were quick ship so I had to wait longer for the Thunder Dome, but, didn’t miss it either by a longer wait time.
I have worn them for 2 days. So far easiest first wear. I did anticipate my hot spots and placed the appropriate ban-aids in the right spots. This leather seems less restrictive.
I probably should wait to answer these, it’s only been two days. They have been great so far.
I got the sizing by trial and error. The fit seems like new boots but not impossibly tough for these senior feet. I love the zero drop and the sole used on the Ridgeline.
Love all of this. Design, craftsmanship and finishing. I did have them cut down by my cobbler because they hit too high on my shin. I’m 5”1’ so I need them shorter. Had another pair cut down from Nicks. Perfect now.
I love what seems like a durable and pliable some without being too hard.
I have many no heel shoes. This is the pinnacle. Love it so much.
I might edit this later after putting a few miles in them. They will be my everyday boot, Trader Joe’s, Kohls (my 2 jobs) and life.
