Break-In

I just put these on and go. I figure I’ll condition these for the first time after the Thubderdome. Unfortunately, as a truck driver, these boots don’t see much wear or abuse. I envy you folks that do real work in your boots! : )

Satisfied with the Fit

Initially I thought these might be a tad large, but my feet have settled in them nicely. I wear these with DarnTough socks. There’s lots of room in the toe, but fits snug around the center of my feet. The arch took some getting use to.

Construction
Durability

Best made boots I own. Before these boots, my experience has been Red Wings which have treated me very well, but these will outlast them by a long shot! Heavy construction. Looks and feels as tough as nails.

Sole & heel

Traction
Durability

Seem to have good grip. However I think the heel is starting to wear faster than I’d hope.

Final thoughts

Would Recommend

I just ordered my second pair of Nick’s boots in Pacific Waxed Flesh. Can’t wait to get them!
