I have enjoyed the boots and leater over the past 9 months.

They have been one of two every day boots in my rotation. They have gotten a lot of use doing chores around here house and have been worn in everything from 90 degree days to -15 degrees. I've even done some hiking and hunting in them.

The leather has patined better then I thought it would and held up great to wear. It was probably the toughest break-in period I have had due to the type of leather but that was completely expected. As far as care routine, I just didn't hear occasionally cleaning with saddle soap when needed and conditioning one every few months.

The fit and comfort are have been good overall. They were a little roomier then expected after break-in so I put a thin veg tan leather insole in them which helped a lot.

I love the design and the construction is top notch. The finish could have been a little better but being from a work boot company it is what I would expect.

I love the look of this sole but traction is definitely lacking.

I have overall have a great experience with the boots. This has been my first pair of engineers and my first pair of Nicks boots. I will definitely be buying from Nicks again.
