Why did you choose this item?
Wanted a winter boot for the dome in W&C. Lots of snow where I am, so lug sole is required. Chose a slate as I wanted something unique. These should clear a metal detector, which matters for me at work.
How did you determine your size?
Previous sizing with Nicks. Went up to EE for something more relaxed. Probably won’t use the as work boots, more just general use.
What was the ordering process?
Online store. Website is getting better, but still not a live configurator. Overall pretty easy

Just got them today. Will update as time goes on

Surprising amount of pull up. It’s grey. Let’s see what it turns into.
Fit
Usually go 55 in 10.5E. Went HNW and up to EE for a more relaxed fit. They are what I expected.
Craftsmanship
Not a stitch out of place. They really did a great job. Finishing was the best I’ve had from Nicks. Would love a 7” version to hold your ankle a little more.
Sole & heel
Hard as a rock. As expected. Don’t walk on wet linoleum.
