Nicks Handmade Boots
These were my first high quality boot. I was looking for something that fit my fat wide feet and was sturdy. These fit the bill great!
Half down from brannock at an EE. These fit well but not perfectly because my high arches call for additional volume. Over time, I think my brannock started at between EE and EEE, and is now solidly EEE.
Great experience for a first order, made me a repeat customer.
I have worn these boots in the office and warehouse, for yardwork, camping, backpacking, and some traveling. They have seen snow, leaves, and river crossings.
Being the preworn category these did not change a ton. There is more nap poking through in some spots and one toe is rolling just a kittle more. The crocking definitely increased. Other than frequent brushing, I did hit them once with Bick 4 in the past 6 months.
Half down from Brannock is the right answer here. These were my first nice boots and I got an EE, I would have gone up a width if I was doing it again now, because I have learned more about my foot size in this last.
These have held up really well in the almost 5 years that I have owned them. No change during the preworn dome over the past 6 months.
Extremely durable. The heel cap is trending toward replacement, but hard to complain after a year of dedicated wear and otherwise being in the weekly rotation.
For me, the preworn dome category sounded like a great way to reconnect with my trusty first pair, and it did not disappoint. I had a great time getting reacquainted with this pair and remembering why they sent me down the rabbit hole of boots. They chance to dome a matching new belt was icing on the cake
