Why I own this

Ready To Wear
Style
Outdoor Activities

One boot that do it all - I wear them when I fix my car, dog parks, hiking, did my first ever solo winter camping in desert, go to the office, visit factories, did my longest business trip to China(3 weeks). First time within 12 years gathering with my family member in Beijing during Chinese New Year. It has been many of occasions and this Boots never let me down. It has a pretty good water resistance when I was crossing creek and snow. The horween rough out leather is soft, flexible and also breathable. I can see why people call that leather socks. And It's getting better and better after It break in. Don't give wrong, I do like different type of leathers but I would like choose this one as a daily driver.

How I sized

Online Guide

I did choose half size up because of the winter with thick socks. And It fits perfectly well with lot of more comfort than my other Viberg

Patina Process

The horween rough out leather is soft, flexible and also breathable. I can see why people call that leather socks. And It's getting better and better after It break in. Especially after those oil and mud from my car, factories, dog parks and trail, color and rough-out surface starting to change rapidly after 3 months. Don't give wrong, I do like different type of leathers but I would like choose this type of leather as a daily driver.

Satisfied with the Fit

I put half size up for this boots because of the winter I need a warmer thicker layer sock. But I actually works perfectly fine and very comfortable indeed

Finishing

Design and Quality definitely over my expectations. Because I wear these shoes into some extremely wet and tough conditions many times. And it still went through. I did feel little wet when I was standing in snow and mud outside to rescue my car for 2 hrs. But these leathers are definitely not waterproof so I don’t want to blame it. It’s kind of my fault.

Sole & heel

Durability
Traction

I think the Dainite Studded sole is the worst thing I got from this boots. Durability feels alright, it still survived after 6 months but the traction on wet surface is most likely not their selling point. Probably gonna resole with other which have more tractions

Final thoughts

Would Recommend

In general these are great smart casual boots that will fit pretty much ur daily circumstances. But if you want to beat them up very hard, this will be the final outlook and I’m not feeling disappointed at all!
