Brannock is 9.5E, I believe the Allen is a very generous D or maybe even an E width. This is my second or third pair in 9.5 and the fit is not an issue.

The sole is an “in-house” version of the Dainite ridgeway sole.

Style

I liked the lighter kudu leather and wanted it for the Thunder Dome.

How did you determine your size?

Have ordered previous Parkhurst boots in the same size. In hindsight, I should have ordered down a half size as the Kudu stretched quite a bit. I had to use an insole as the boots just became too big to wear, even with my thickest socks.

It’s holding up well, stretching a bit more than I’d like. The boots feel a little too roomy now, hoping an insole will help take up some of the room. I’m shifting around in them even with thick socks, where the boots were snug initially. There was also some minor surface tearing around around the ball of the vamp but it just seems to be surface level. I conditioned with Bick4 by dabbing the area and hit it with some Venetian shoe cream. It hasn’t worsened and doesn’t seem to be an issue for the life of the boot.

Too Much Volume

I have multiple pairs of Parkhurst 602M’s in different leathers. Veg tan is fine but this Kudu is stretching a little too much. Hoping to mitigate the issue with insoles or maybe some kilties. The boots initially felt great, so just a little too much wiggle room now that they’re fully broken in. Might try going down a half size in my next pair of Kudu boots from Parkhurst.

It’s good, not as grippy as a Dr Sole raw cord but I’m not falling over or slipping on wet metal. Comfort is reasonably good, they’re not uncomfortable.

Good Value

Quality boots that are a good value. Parkhurst comes out some really cool boots, it’s hard to choose which ones to buy. Wishing the kudu didn’t stretch as much as it did but hoping to curb the problem with some insoles. Seems like I’ve gained almost a half size and I’m now shifting my around in the boots.
