Traditional design with a rugged soul (sole)

These shoes quickly became everyday favorites. From long days in the boots shop, shoveling snow during the New England winter, walking the muddy hills of Derbyshire and to the streets of London. I have been comfortable is all of these environments.

They were comfortable from the start. I had like the elephant gray color from the begin, but as it broke in, and creases developed I liked it even more. In the last few months as the really started absorbing the condition the leather darkened nicely. I veered from my normal conditioner of Limmer Grease and used Seigel Saddlery’s leather balm (tallow,5% bees was, lavender oil) and really liked the effect. For the final photo shoot I chose a Pure Polish conditioner. The surface of the Crazy horse did take on a little bit of dust and dirty from the shop, but brushed out nicely before conditioning.

I have been a big fan of the Munson last for some time. They tend about half to a full size bigger than the brannock measurement. The asymmetric toe box works well and the arch is strong. I personally love the 15oz veg insole with zero cushion, it breaks I so nicely to your foot.

These will continue the stay in heavy rotation following the thunderdome. I look forward to seeing them become even better in the years to come.
