Great Boot, Great Leather, Great Price -The Nelson By Prof Barnet

Football Games, Nights Out, Some Travel, lots of Snow and Rain, Grocery Store….

Brushing after every wear and Bic 4 about 3 times during the competition. This leather held up even better than I thought originally. I was hoping for the smooth side to start a green tint. This happened, but there is definitely more to come in that regard. Ok I’m going to level….this leather smells, like fish a little.

The last fits great for me I have subsequently bought another Nelson in Seidel leather since the competition started. It is a low profile last in the toe and vamp area. I gave Prof Barnett all my measurements and the fit is snug just like I like it.

When I received the boot I was immediately drawn to the sole edging around the waist. Almost artwork. The stitching is by hand and the build overall is an A+. The smooth / reverse combo was clicked perfectly.

Comfort and traction were great no complaints. Only negative might be the bend upward in the ball area. Might just be a boot design??

I could have gone with one less leather heel stack because the Dr Sole heel is pretty thick.

Highly recommend the builder and the Nelson Boot. I want to try different combos and definitely with a full sole. Also can’t beat the price for handmade.
