I work in an office setting in education and these were my companion throughout the entirety of the dome. I’m also an avid car enthusiast and diy’er around the home, so these saw a broad set of conditions. I’ve done a full rear-end rebuild of my car, regular maintenance, building a trailer, and projects around the house. As refined as these are, they took every bit of what I and my random projects through at them - excel sheets, or sheets of drywall.
I don’t know the specifics of the leather, actually, but my goodness did it age quickly and well. They’ve developed a deep and rich color that I’ve come to adore. I did use a bit of bick 4 and or VSC to keep the leather hydrated throughout the process and it’s proven to hold well. Given that I work in an office environment I’ve had to maintain some semblance of presentability and this pair allowed me to do that with ease, with minimal care.
It was recommended that as a 10D to try the 11 and it fit perfectly, and was surprisingly versatile in that I could fit them barefoot and with thick socks perfectly. I made no changes to the fit.
These were built very well. Everything about them is top-notch. I put these through fairly irregular conditions and they managed to hold up. I did break a few stitches on the pull-tab but it will be a simple stitching job to repair them. Excited to resole these and wear them for years to come.
They held up surprisingly well! Super comfortable out the box, and though I’ve worn through them now I do intend to seek a resole with a non-crepe option to match the durability of the upper.

I need - NEED - Project Pandion to continue to develop products like these. I love my staple brands and their respective lasts that I know fit me well, but in taking a risk in trying something new I’ve gained an appreciation for artisans trying ‘new’ things with time-tested crafts. I feel that my experience here has encouraged me to try new things within this hobby of ours. 10/10 would recommend these.
