I'm glad my husband convinced me to get these!

These have, of course, been my go to pair of boots for the past 6 months. They have been great in all conditions and terrains. I've hiked in them, ended up on ice, had to walk through a bit of snow, thousands upon thousands of steps on concrete, and have absolutely loved them. Great traction going up and down rocky and dirt trails, very little slippage on ice and snow, and comfortable even with a ridiculous amount of walking on concrete. I've worked on house repairs and done yard work in these. Being in Oklahoma we've had everything from hot and humid weather to cold and extremely dry weather to a mix of both.

These boots have held up beautifully. Not as much color change as I was expecting/ hoping for. Especially considering I usually put well over 10k steps in them most days. I've done basic care throughout the process and they really haven't needed anything more than that. They were a bit of a beast to break in, but once the toe softened up a bit, they've been great.

These seem to fit true to size, but I do have somewhat narrow feet. Someone with wide feet might not find them as comfortable. I didn't have any trouble with significant foot pain, arch issues, or hot spots with these after they were broken in.

What can one say about these boots? They are a simple and classic design and a great casual pair of boots. Being Redwing you know that they're made well with quality materials at a comfortable price point. I like them a lot and am seriously considering getting a second pair. If they had a true purple I'd have already purchased them. In the mean time I really can't decide which colorful ones I want most.

My husband absolutely raves about the wedge sole, but I didn't find them as amazingly comfortable as he does. They are definitely comfortable, but I find my silversmiths more comfortable. The traction and durability can't be beat though. These boots have been heavily worn and I'm no where near needing a re sole. Not slipping and falling on muddy trails or wet/icey concrete while running errends was fantastic.

I would absolutely recommend these boots. They are an all around great boot. Comfortable, reliable, cute, classic, safe to walk in on sketchy ground, and available in a wide variety of leathers/colors. I love them. They are a great quality at a reasonable price point.
