I made a commitment to myself to wear this every single day even if it’s just for 100 steps to take out the garbage. I wore them to work, casual hiking, and I sometimes went for a short run in them (though it was definitely not comfortable…). I also went on a few international trips (Japan and Florida) in them:)
I recall that the first weeks were a bit rough on my feet but they got real soft after the 2 weeks. They are extremely durable, breathable, and comfortable and didn’t require a lot of maintenance thought I cleaned and conditioned them every other month. Patina started develop a bit after a month or so but I think this pair patinas slowly compared to my other red wings.
I love the classic design and also really like the unique colour of the classic moc! Just like other red wing pairs that I own, I could tell they are built to last and go super well with the raw denim pairs I wear regularly.
First of all I’d like to say thank you for putting this together. It was enjoyable to share this journey with hundreds of others and honestly I would never have committed to wearing one pair of boots regularly like this if it wasn’t for this competition. I’m glad I chose this pair of classic moc this year as they are super comfortable and versatile - looking forward to participating again in the future as well!
